The company has announced the closure of its manufacturing, integration, and distribution facility located in Warsaw, Indiana in November 2022.
The closure will impact 189 employees. According to the company, "KGP will remain in operation in Warsaw with the few remaining employees following this reduction in force, but only on a minimal administrative scale."
Any remaining employees and FlexNap manufacturing business and piece out work will be done remotely or at KGP’s other facilities."
In a letter to employees, the company noted, “We regret to inform you that due to a decrease in FlexNap manufacturing business and continued raw material shortage impacting piece out work, KGP will be performing a reduction in force affecting employment at the Warsaw, Indiana, manufacturing locations of KGP Telecommunications.”

Faribault, Minnesota-based KGP Telecommunications, a woman-owned company that identifies itself as the country's largest communications product distribution and service solution provider in the telecommunications industry, has announced a major workforce reduction at its manufacturing facilities in Warsaw, Indiana.
According to the WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification) notice filed with the State of Indiana, "Due to a sudden decrease in business from a large customer for Assemble, Wire, Test (AWT) work, KGP anticipates conducting a permanent reduction in force of approximately 300 employees at its Warsaw, Indiana facilities." The client is rumored to be AT&T. “The primary positions impacted wi11 include manufacturing and assembly employees as well as related office personnel.” According to the notice, it is possible that one of the two facilities will be shuttered depending on the severity the business decline.
