Lincoln, Nebraska-based Ameritas, offering insurance and benefit management services to organizations, has announced that it will be laying of 73 employees, including 40 located in Lincoln.
The decision was not impacted by the COVID19 pandemic and was driven by a review process that started in 2019.
A company spokesperson noted, "As a growing organization, the right structure is important. Sometimes that means making changes to build a more effective organization."
