Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Convey Health Solutions, a provider of software, data analytics, and other technology-based platforms for health insurance companies and pharmacies related to government-sponsored health care plans such as Medicare, has announced the wind-down of operations and permanent closure of its Pompano Beach, Florida facility.
The wind-down and closure will impact 88 employees, all associated with inventory, distribution, and shipping, including 74 distribution coordinators, four distribution team leads, five receiving coordinators, three distribution supervisors, a distribution and shipping manager, and an inventory control supervisor.
It appears that the decision was driven by pre-acquisition privatization by San Francisco, California-based TPG Capital which is expected to close by the end of 2022.
