Seattle, Washington-based Avalara, the tax accounting platform that specializes in multi-tax compliance, has announced a reduction in force.
It appears that the layoffs are related to Avalara's October 2022, acquisition by Austin, Texas-based private equity firm Vista Equity Partners for $8.4 billion.
The company has refused to comment on the layoffs.
