AM I NEXT? NO LOVE AT VEEAM SOFTWARE

Columbus, Ohio-based Veeam Software, a developer of backup, disaster recovery, and modern data protection software for virtual, cloud-native, SaaS, Kubernetes, and physical workloads, has announced a reduction in force.

The personnel realignment impacted 200 employees.

A company spokesperson noted, “We have reduced our global workforce by 200 people. During this transition, our priority is helping our people – both those affected by this decision and those who remain with Veeam – with the best care and support possible. We are a strong, profitable, fast-growing company, however, from time to time, we must make decisions about where we should invest and how we can drive efficiency in the way we go-to-market. These decisions are wholly based on our priorities and do not reflect the work of those impacted.”

Change is coming. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter how much you may try to ignore it. There are no guarantees in life or promises for a bright future. We see good people being laid off through no fault of their own. Just because something bad hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it won't. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. No one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow and still have a job by evening. Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
