AM I NEXT? NO LOVE AT WIPRO LIMITED

East Brunswick, New Jersey-based Wipro Limited, an Indian multinational information business process outsourcer, has announced a reduction in force at its Tampa, Florida offices.

The personnel re-alignment will impact 120 employees commencing on May 13, 2023. Most of those slated for layoff are processing agents and team leaders,

The decision was driven by the company's realignment of business needs, primarily a lack of work which is a customary reality in a contractual outsourcing environment.

According to a spokesperson, "This is an isolated incident. Wipro remains deeply committed to the region. And all other Wipro employees serving clients in the Tampa area remain unaffected."
