Gillette, Wyoming-based Hoskinson Contracting and Hoskinson Concrete, a full-service contracting firm with concrete production capabilities, announced its intention to permanently close companies created to support the construction of the new Hoskinson Health & Wellness Clinic.
The reduction affected 123 employees hired to build a local health clinic in Gillette, Wyoming.
CEO Chris Davis noted that the construction and concrete companies were created to support the clinic, and “The large-scale construction needs that led the clinic to create an in-house construction company have come to an end. As a result, Hoskinson Contracting is scaling back its operations, and the Hoskinson Concrete division is being closed. Hoskinson Contracting will work in a more limited capacity going forward. It will concentrate on maintaining existing Hoskinson properties and overseeing future construction projects, which it will bid out to local Wyoming contractors.”
