THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
Just a quick reminder to say a prayer of thanks for all of the brave soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, were gravely wounded, suffered a disability, or found it hard to integrate back into a life where military-like discipline, skills, and behavior are alien to most Americans. Let us also not forget those missing in action and who remain unaccounted for, as well as those presently standing watch over our freedom and liberty.
Change is coming. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter how much you may try to ignore it. There are no guarantees in life or promises for a bright future. We see good people being laid off through no fault of their own. Just because something terrible hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. No one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow and still have a job by evening. While many employees can read the writing on the wall, why do most assume it’s targeted at someone else? Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
For those who confuse the days and their meanings…
Veterans Day (November 11) is for those who have served and lived to tell their story of serving.
Armed Forces Day (3rd Sat in May) is for those on active military duty.
Memorial Day (last Monday of May) is to honor & mourn those who served and died in service to our country.
