AM I NEXT? NO LOVE AT KESEYA

Miami, Florida-based Kaseya, an information technology company that provides software for network and system monitoring and other IT applications, primarily for managed service providers and internal IT departments, has announced a 5% reduction in its global workforce.

The reduction affects 250 employees, mostly in the sales department, including account management and related support positions. This follows cuts in October 2025 (200) and April 2024 (150).

According to Xavier Gonzalez, the company's Chief Communications Officer, "The layoffs were part of a go-to-market realignment. The company’s account management teams are being organized more by customer segment, and working even more closely with our technical specialists and customer success teams. These are internal changes aimed at making our team more efficient, responsive, and aligned with customer needs. This was not an easy decision, and it was not made lightly. We are deeply grateful for the contributions those impacted employees have made to Kaseya, and we truly wish them the very best in what comes next."

Change is constant, and it's coming. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter how much you may try to ignore it. There are no guarantees in life, nor promises of a bright future. We see good people being laid off through no fault of their own. Just because something terrible hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. It can happen to anyone, at any time, anywhere. No one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow and still have a job by evening. While many employees can read the writing on the wall, why do most assume it’s targeted at someone else? Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
