Reston, Virginia-based Leidos Holdings, a defense, aviation, information technology, and biomedical research consultancy, has announced a personnel realignment to "promote ongoing changes and opportunities in our business environment."
The reduction in force affected 305 employees in non-customer-facing roles.
According to a company spokesperson, “The layoff notices are part of organizational changes the company is making and aim to help us to operate more efficiently and best position us for the future. We are grateful to each colleague affected by these reductions, and we are committed to supporting them through this transition."
