Provo, Utah-based Revere Health, an independent multispecialty physician group in Utah and southeastern Nevada, has announced the restructuring of its workflow using automation and AI to improve competitiveness.

The restructuring will impact 177 nonclinical employees by November 3, 2025.

According to a company statement, We’re implementing a comprehensive suite of technology solutions that will allow us to operate more efficiently and effectively in response to increasing industry demands. While we must modernize and optimize our business processes to remain competitive, we take very seriously the impact this transition has on our Revere family and are committed to assisting in whatever way we can. As part of this modernization initiative, certain positions within Revere Health’s central business office will transition as we align with new technology-focused operations. These are valued members of our team, and we recognize this change affects not just employees but their families as well. We will provide comprehensive severance packages, transition assistance, and dedicated support to help each affected team member navigate this transition with dignity and care. This strategic decision reflects our commitment to embracing innovation and ensuring Revere Health remains at the forefront of healthcare delivery.

Phoenix, Arizona-based Banner Health, a non-profit health system operating 33 hospitals and several specialized facilities across 6 states, has announced that the emergency room at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado, has announced plans to close the emergency department at McKee Medical Center on November 5, 2025, due to a decline in patient volume over the past four years. The facility will be re-purposed into a specialty hospital focused on cancer care, under the new name "Banner North Colorado Medical Center – Loveland.

The repurposing will impact 351 employees, including 64 per diem staff members.

According to Alan Qualls, CEO of Banner’s Northern Colorado hospitals, “The transition of Banner McKee is driven by community demand. Our emergency room volumes at McKee have declined each of the last four years, and we’re only using 25% of our hospital beds. The vast majority – 88% – of all surgeries performed there today are outpatient procedures. We are responding to the community and making the best use of this facility by prioritizing convenient and accessible health care services.”

St. Cloud, Minnesota-based CentraCare, an integrated nonprofit health care system operating ten hospitals, 30 clinics, and four pharmacies, has announced a major restructuring combined with a reduction in force.

The personnel realignment will impact 535 employees systemwide, with 375 in administrative and support positions and 160in patient care roles.

A spokesperson noted, "CentraCare is responding to significant external pressures, including rising costs and reimbursement rates that no longer cover the true cost of care. To safeguard the organization’s stability and to continue delivering high-quality care, we have made difficult but necessary staffing adjustments. While difficult, making these adjustments now will strengthen CentraCare’s foundation to remain a trusted healthcare partner. We look forward to continuing to serve our communities with compassion and excellence for many years to come.”
